In The Kitchen
I am trying to post a little more often so I thought I would do a weekly post on the recipes I am going to try and make during the week. I usually start the week off with a list and some times I make everything and some times I make nothing but I usually make at least one thing each week. This week on my list I have :
Granola
Chocolate Ice cream
Strawberry Frozen Yogurt The girls ate all the strawberries before I got a chance to make the frozen yogurt
French Bread Didn't get a chance to get to this one this week, adding to next weeks list
Banana Bread
This may seem like a lot of stuff but my freezer is my best friend. When I make banana bread I make it in mini loaf pans and my recipe makes 5. The girls and I can usually eat one loaf in a day so I leave one out and put the others in the freezer. The ice cream and frozen yogurt will last us awhile but I had heavy cream and yogurt I need to use up so I will make these now and we will eat them over the next month or so. For the french bread I will just make one loaf and Colin and the girls will probably polish this off in two days. The granola is for me and I like to eat it plain as a snack or I will mix it in some vanilla yogurt.
