Arts & Crafts

Last week I was looking over some home decorating blogs and found this little project. Mine was not quite the same as the one I saw posted but it was easy for me to do and didn't take long to finish. The one I saw used wooden letters and a separte frame for each letter. I figured for my first try I'd go simple. I just cut the paper to fit the size of the picture openings and used a craft glue stick to glue the letters on.

My new love

A friend recently raved about the wonderful and refreshing qualities of this remarkable drink. I have had regular Fresca before so the other day when I was at the store and saw the Peach Citrus flavor she raved about I thought I'd give it a try. I LOVE IT! Normally I drink diet coke but I just can't stop drinking this. What's also great about it is that it's still a Coke product so I still get my rewards points and can use my coupons when buying it. It is also caffeine free which is better for me right now too. I have now been able to cut back to one Diet Coke a day.

Morning Sickness

or all day sickness, I had both during my first trimester. I am feeling a lot better now but really struggled some mornings. For those mornings I was having a really hard time this is what breakfast looked like at our house. Lily got some cheerios in her snack trap (the greatest invention for little kids), a sippy cup of milk, and her favorite show, Jack's Big Music Show. I felt like a bad mom for letting her watch tv until I felt better but I don't think she minded too much.

She Walks

So I am once again a little behind on my blog by about a month or so, so I will do my best to try and catch up. First, it was about a month ago near the end of August and I was sitting in my living room talking to my mom on the phone when all of a sudden I looked up and Lily was walking across the room all by herself. I couldn't believe it and I kept whispering to my mom on the phone that she was walking. Now this isn't all that new as she was almost 16 months old and had been walking if you held her hand or if she could hold onto the furniture but it was the first time she walked all by herself without holding onto anything. Later that night we got her on video doing it and now of course it is non stop everywhere we go she wants to walk.
