The day has finally come

It took awhile but it has finally happened, this morning I dropped Lily off at preschool in my pajamas.  We had a very long night with very very little sleep and I may have hit the snooze button on my alarm a few too many times this morning.  I did manage to get all three children dressed and fed but time just ran out for me.  Luckily it was Monday and I just had to drop Lily off so we just went through the carpool line and I didn't have to get out of the car.  Mommy fail #2 of the day came when I went to pick her up and and as I looked around there was only me and two other parents in the carpool line.  Lily's teacher walked her out and I asked what I missed.......I completely forgot that today was their Luau party and parents and siblings were invited to attend.....oops.  Her teacher said she was fine though and she didn't get upset until she saw me and then asked where I was.  She even pointed out to me that Hannah and C.J. could have come to the party too.  Hopefully she's still young enough she won't remember this one because I am sure it won't be the last time I forget to attend something.
