10 on 10 February

I got a friendly reminder last night that today is the 10th and time for 10 on 10 from my friend Allison.  I always want to do this every month and never remember until I see her post on her blog at the end of the day.

Lily had her Valentines Day party at school today so she got to wear her new shirt. 

Hannah got to wear her new Ariel shirt today.  I tried to get a picture of them together but they were not in a cooperative move this morning.


After dropping Lily off at school Hannah and I headed to Target to pick up a few things and somehow these ended up in my cart.  I don't know why I wanted them since I am generally not a big fan of Peeps but they were good.

I love my Sony eReader!  Colin got it for me last year for Christmas and I use it all the time.  Lily gets out of school at 12:30 and they do a "carpool" line so you just pull up to the front door and they birng the kids out.  If you get there at 12:30 you will be at the end of the line and it takes forever.  I usually get there around 12:10 and yes I do wait for 20 minutes but if I got there later I'd be waiting for at least 30 minutes.  I sit in the car and read....love it.

Lily was so excited to open all of her Valentines cards when she got home.  I managed to hold her off until after lunch but she had them all open with in minutes.  She was so excited to see the pictures of all of them.

During nap time today I managed to make a loaf of Beer Bread.  This is soooo good, the girls love it too and kept asking for more tonight.

This is the expression I had waiting for me when I went to get Hannah up from her nap. 

The girls also got a Valentines card int he mail today from my mom and dad.  The cards had stickers in them and this is how Lily used hers.

My mom got me some bath bombs from Lush for Christmas.  I love them so much, I only have two left.  Tonight I used Mrs. Whippy.

#10 for the night is a bit of a vent.  Thursday nights are my favorite nights because three of my favorite shows are on.  Bones, CSI, and then The Mentalist, it made for a great night.  Now thanks to American Idol Bones and CSI are on at the same time at 9 so I have to pick one to watch and record the other.  Then the Mentalist comes on and it is 11 and though I know I shouldn't I have been staying up to watch the recorded episode of Bones.  That means I am up way too late and usually grouchy the next morning.  I really don't like American Idol and can't wait for it to be over.
