Speaking of Christmas....
So, as I sit here working on some Christmas presents I got to thinking what others would think about receiving handmade presents. As I got some GREAT ideas (at least I think they're great ideas) for gifts for this year I thought it would be kind of neat if I could make some of them. I am not totally lacking in the craft deparment (maybe a little in the motivation deptartment) and I love doing these types of things. Like I said, now as I sit here working on some of these gifts I can't help but wonder/worry if the receivers will think they are as great as I do. So if anyone actually reads this, what would you think if you got a handmade Christmas present given with the greatest of intentions?

Last year I did coasters, aprons, oven mitts & purses for the ladies. The guys got appliqued shirts & pj pants. And one got a pile of poo lol.

This year, I'm doing Hudson Hats, Drop stitch scarves, quilts & ornaments. Guess I better get off the puter & get to work!
Absolutely handmade gifts are great! There's so much more thought put into it and can be much more practical than something bought. You definitely have quite the talent for this stuff so I'm sure it wouldn't leave anyone disappointed!! :-)
