Williamsburg

My Grandma happened to be in Williamsburg yesterday with a tour group she is traveling around with so I packed up the girls and drove the hour so we could see her. I haven't seen her since my Grandfather's funeral a couple years ago and she had never met Lily or Hannah so we took the opportunity to spend a bit of time with her. I think Lily was a little confused because I kept saying Grandma and she knows who her Grandma is and was pretty sure this wasn't her. Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating and it was pretty rainy but luckily we got a chance to sit inside the restaurant her group was eating lunch at and chat for a little while. The girls were nice enough to nap on the way there and on the way home too so it was a nice quiet drive for me.

We had a similar situation like this with Isaac; when we spent a week at my sister's house before her wedding and my parents were there Isaac kept hearing Chandra & I calling my mom "mom" so he now calls her "mama". He calls Joe's mom "grandma" but I have a feeling my mom will always be "mama". I can only imagine what other people think when they see my mom's age and hear Isaac call her "mama". (No offense, mom!!) :-)
